So we are going to try to have our kayaking trip. We had a great time last year! Below is the website. We will be do the Fletchers Mid Trip Run. I would like to meet at the Rec Center and drive down together and carpool. Please let me know if you can drive (and how many seats you have) or if you need a ride. This is a team bonding activity for the 11&over’s. However, families can come along.

Timeline: 9am at the Rec Center. 10:00am run time. 1pm Finish time and should be back by the Rec Center by 1:30pm.

Instead of buying the tickets all at once, you can use the website below to reserve a time slot at 9:45am. You can do single kayak or a tandem kayak (meaning you would be with a partner - HIGHLY Recommended for 11-12 year olds or first time kayakers). It will be up to you on how you go.

Practice schedule for the 2024 season:

Morning practices will begin on Tuesday, May 28, 2024

Practices will continue everyday Monday - Friday, until the conclusion of the season. There is no practice on Thursday, July 4.

Junior Seadragons: 9:15am to 10:00am
8 & Under: 10:00am to 10:45am
9-10 year olds: 8:30am - 9:15am
11-12 year olds: 7:30am - 8:30am
13-14 year olds: 7:00am - 8:30am
15 & Over: 7:00am - 8:30am

What do you need for practices? A great attitude, suit, goggles, towel, and sunscreen. A swim cap is optional.

Practices will be held rain or shine. In the event of thunder/lightning, safety precautions will be made and communication to families will be texted/emailed to the team. Please check your settings on SwimTopia to ensure timely communication is received.

For Returning Families, your swimmer's spot is guaranteed until Monday, April 15th (meaning please register before this date, otherwise your swimmer may end up on the waitlist)
