2026 NSSL Championship Meet Information

Get Ready for Championships!
The 49th Annual Northern Suburban Swim League (NSSL) Championship Meet will be held at the Springdale Recreation Center on Monday, July 20 and Tuesday, July 21, 2026. We are excited to celebrate the season with two days of fast swimming, team spirit, and fun.

Know Your Session
Monday Morning Session
Age Groups: 6 & Under, 8 & Under, 9–10
- Facility Opens: 7:00 AM
- Warm-Ups: 7:15–8:45 AM
- Meet Starts: 9:00 AM
Monday Afternoon Session
Age Groups: 11–12, 13–14, 15 & Over
- Facility Opens: 1:45 PM
- Warm-Ups: 2:00–4:15 PM
- Meet Starts: 4:30 PM
Tuesday Finals
Finalists and Relay Participants
- Facility Opens: 10:45 AM
- Warm-Ups: 11:00 AM–1:15 PM
- Meet Starts: 1:30 PM
Arrival and Parking
Please allow extra time for parking and walking to the team area. Championship attendance is significantly larger than a regular-season meet.
Swimmer Drop-Off
- Enter through the main Recreation Center entrance.
- Follow the traffic loop in front of the building.
- Swimmers may be dropped off near the main entrance and walk to the team tent area.
Important Reminders
- Do not park in the drop-off circle.
- Do not block fire lanes or driveways.
- Do not drop swimmers off on Lawnview Avenue.
- Follow all posted signs and parking volunteer directions.

Admission
- $5 per person, per session
- Monday All-Day Pass: $8
- Children under 4: Free
- League swimmers: Free
- League coaches and working officials: Free
- Meet volunteers are expected to pay the session(s) they are working
Cash is preferred. Zelle payments may be accepted as needed.
Team Tent Area
Each team will have a designated tent area.
For everyone's safety and comfort:
- No pets
- No smoking
- No grills or open flames
- Keep team areas clean
- Secure personal belongings
- Help maintain a positive and safe environment for all swimmers and families
There are two entrances to the Team Tent Area: (1) through the Swimmer Drop Off, along Lawnview Ave or (2) through the gates to the pool deck
Important Information for Swimmers

Monday Morning Clerk of Course
For 6 & Under, 8 & Under, and 9–10 swimmers, a Clerk of Course will be used during the Monday morning session. Swimmers should listen carefully for coach instructions and report when called.
Tuesday Finals
There is no Clerk of Course during Finals. Swimmers are responsible for reporting directly to their assigned lanes and blocks.
Safety Reminders
- No running on the pool deck.
- Follow warm-up procedures.
- Stay hydrated throughout the day.
- Report any illness or injury immediately.
Weather Policy
In the event of lightning, thunder, or severe weather:
- The pool and team areas will be cleared.
- Swimmers, families, coaches, and volunteers will move into the Recreation Center gym.
- Meet officials and recreation staff will determine when it is safe to resume competition.
Parent Checklist
Before leaving for the pool, make sure your swimmer:

✅ Knows their warm-up time
✅ Has all swim equipment
✅ Has plenty of water and snacks
✅ Arrives early
✅ Is ready to have fun and represent the team with great sportsmanship!
