  • Our youngest swimmer is 4 years old. Our oldest is 17 years old.
  • 5 sets of twins swimming
  • There are more swimmers who are 8 and under than swimmers who are 9 and older. We have a super young team!
  • We have 9 amazing coaches!
  • Coach Jen has been Head Coach for the Seadragons for 8 years.
  • And we have SO many great family members and friends cheering on our swimmers, too many to count!

Declare your Swimmer by Wednesday, July 3

In order for the Coaches to prepare for our last home meet and Championships, please mark your swimmer(s) as Attending or Not Attending for the upcoming Home swim meet on Tuesday, July 9 and Championships on Monday, July 15 and Tuesday, July 16. We must report numbers and prepare our entries to the league by the deadline. For Junior Families - Coaches will work with you when they are ready for meet participation and the Coaches will mark your swimmers accordingly.

City of Wyoming - 4th of July Parade: Calling all Wyoming Seadragon Families - join us in the City of Wyoming 4th of July Parade. This year's parade theme is "Wyoming 150th anniversary"! Let us know if you can make it by committing to the event like you do a swim meet. Participants can bring candy to give out to parade spectators. For the first 40 swimmers, we will have pool noodles as props for the parade (Not to keep, sorry. They will be for use at our upcoming practices)

9:30am - Meet at the Village Green.10am - Parade begins - The parade will follow west on Wyoming Ave, north on Springfield Pike, east on Wentworth and south on Burns and make its way back to the Village Green. After the parade there are games and an award ceremony.

Our Championship meet is just around the corner, July 15-16 hosted at Sharonville. This is the end goal for ALL of our swimmers…to swim our best individual and relay times at Championships. What I love seeing is everyone cheering each other on and the exhilaration of the race.

Our team has 184 swimmers. I’d love to see all our swimmers there. If your swimmer can be there to swim, please commit them to be there. Every swimmer can contribute to points earned at Championships. If your family needs help - rides, taking turns watching over kids, settling nerves, please let us know how we can help. I didn’t get through any of our past championships without asking questions or for help.

Champ Details (More information will be provided when we receive the details from our meet hosts)

End of the Season Celebration – Our end of the season celebration will be on Wednesday, July 17 and we are at the POOL! The main part of dinner will be on the Seadragons, Tacos from Tortilleria Garcia! Our Jr. Seadragon families will supply the desserts and juice boxes for the kids. We’re asking the rest of the families in attendance to contribute to the meal by bringing a dish to share - appetizers, salads, and your own beverage. Awards, Medals, and Ribbons will be distributed. Let us know if you can be there and add a note to let us know how many family members can attend so we can plan. RSVP here>.

Do you have pictures to share from Practices and Meets? We don’t have a team photographer again, but we have lots of families taking pictures and videos that might be willing to share. Feel free to upload them to our Wyoming Seadragons - 2024 Season photo album.

Parent Board: We have an awesome group of parents who serve on the board and official volunteer capacities. This is the strongest most spirited group of people around and they hustle behind the scenes like no other! All families are invited to join the parent board and take on a role within the swim team. If you are interested in filling a role on the Parent Board or an official volunteer role, please send an email to April, [email protected] as soon as possible. There are some opportunities to shadow before the end of the season.
