Week 8 (July 17-19) Wyoming Seadragons - Champs Week and the end of the season! Summer Swim Season 2023

This is the last week of our Seadragon season! I hope everyone loved watching our Juniors show off their skills and confidence at our Friday Seadragon meet and Breakfast of Champions.

I’m excited to have close to one hundred swimmers at Champs! We have a great team and we will have terrific swims! A separate message specifically to Families attending Champs will follow this message.

League Officials Needed: Our league is in need of Officials to become certified. There is a special training that will be in October. The Seadragons can help take care of fees for certification if you are interested. Another benefit of going through the certification is being eligible to get paid to work middle school and high school meets. Reach out if you are interested in getting certified to [email protected].

Help Support an up and coming swim team! My name is Amanda Snyder and I am the proud parent of Wyoming Seadragon 15 y/o Joe Snyder. I am also a Spanish teacher at Western Hills University High School and headed into my 4th year of teaching there (my 10th year overall). Last year, I was blessed with the opportunity to start a school swim team. (Read more about the team’s recognition, this is a great story by the way!) I have a lot to do as we work on building our swim team so I am reaching out for your help. I am in need of gently used/new items such as goggles, swimsuits, towels, swim caps etc. My students/swimmers are high school aged students who want to learn how to swim and be part of the school swim team so any help getting us started with what we need to be successful would be greatly appreciated. My goal is to grow the team each year. If you have any questions you can email me at [email protected]. If you would prefer to donate money instead of gently used or new items, you may venmo me at @Amanda-Snyder-14. I greatly appreciate your assistance and support as I work to build my school swim team.

Sincerely,

Amanda Snyder
