Wyoming Seadragons - Week 8 - July 17 - CHAMPS are HERE

It’s the end of the season and we're headed to Champs! I hope everyone loved watching our Juniors show off their skills and confidence at our Friday Seadragon meet and Breakfast of Champions. I’m excited to have close to one hundred swimmers at Champs! We have a great team and we will have terrific swims!

Here are your end of Season Reminders:
[] End of Season Celebration
[] Gift to Coaches
[] Family Survey
[] Yard Signs
[] Other Swim opportunities
[] Parent Board Volunteers
[] League Officials Needed
[] Champs Recap (from the messages Coach Jen has sent)

End of the Season Celebration: Our end of the season celebration will be on Wednesday, July 20 - 7pm at the Wyoming Civic Center. Awards, Medals, and Ribbons will be distributed. Desserts and drinks will be provided. Let us know if you can be there and add a note to let us know how many family members can attend so we can plan. RSVP here>. Sign up to volunteer or donate items>>

Gift to Coaches: Our Coaches did an amazing job working with our swimmers. If you’d like to contribute to a group gift card to the Coaches as a special thanks, you can give April or Rich cash or check during Champs or Venmo @April-Robles-2 by Wednesday, July 20 at noon so we can present a gift card to the coaches at the celebration

Family Feedback: Feedback from all of our Families is very important. Please fill out this survey before Sunday, July 31 - Family Survey>>

Yard Signs: If you have a yard sign, you are welcome to drop them off at the Rec Center Pool at the Coaches’ Office (to the left of the guard/staff office). We will do a sweep of the neighborhood to pick up signs.

Is your swimmer interested in taking their swim passion to the next level?
Check out these local programs:
PCY Tigersharks – All Ages
Marlins – All Ages
WHS Swimming (for 9th through 12th Graders) – Coach Dave and Coach Diane
WMS Swimming (for 7th & 8th Graders) – Coach Toerner

Parent Board: Special shout out and thanks to the volunteers on the Parent Board! They go above and beyond the call of duty. There are a few of us that now only have high schoolers and our years with the team are numbered. We need some families with younger swimmers to ensure we can keep a quality summer swim program. Please reach out if you can share your talents with the team.

League Officials Needed: Our league is in need of Officials to become certified. There is a special training that will be in October. The Seadragons can help take care of fees for certification if you are interested. Another benefit of going through the certification is being eligible to get paid to work middle school and high school meets. Reach out if you are interested in getting certified.
