Wyoming Seadragons - Week 5 - June 27-July1

Somehow we are already halfway through the season! We love to see the team spirit and sportsmanship of our kids and the families hanging out around the pool during practices and the meets. Coach Jen and her coaching team have done a great job with our swimmers – the improvements I’ve seen in many of our swimmers have been amazing. Congrats to some of our Junior Seadragons that have been invited to start swimming in our meets. What a great accomplishment! These accomplishments will help us build towards great swims for Championships.

Volunteer Requirements

Going into the last half of the season, we appreciate everyone pitching in and completing your family volunteer requirements (3 per family requirement). Please sign up to volunteer if you haven’t already or reach out if you need help to fulfill your volunteering responsibilities. New Volunteer opportunities are posted.  We have a collection of teenagers that you can pay to stand in for you. They make great timers and it’s a win win for everyone. You’re your own arrangements directly with these helpers for hire. https://wyomingseadragons.swimtopia.com/helpers-f...

Meets and Ribbons

If your kids haven’t figured it out already, there are family files that contain ribbons awarded from the meets they have swam in. Typically these will be available the day after a meet. Some families had questions about scoring at the meets. We’ve provided additional information on the site if you’d like to know the technical side of scoring and placing at the swim meets. Thanks to Jill Friesen (and family) for you help with awards! If you have questions that the coaches can help with, feel free to reach out at [email protected].
